My thoughts on The Men’s Hair Book by Rogelio from Manly Curls
This section is the more personal side of me as a professional barber. bearing in mind that I am learning Linux too, I think the name Linux Facile (which means Easy Linux in Italian) in this subdomain more than does the job of portraying one of my hobbies. And another of of my hobbies is reading, and I have been the reading the book, The Men’s Hair Book, by Manly Curls author Rogelio Samson.
The Men’s Hair Book: A Male’s Guide To Hair Care, Hair Styles, Hair Grooming, Hair Products and Rocking It All Without The Baloney
The above is the actual title of the book I’m reading: The Men’s Hair Book: A Male’s Guide To Hair Care, Hair Styles, Hair Grooming, Hair Products and Rocking It All Without The Baloney. This book is also known as The Men’s Hair Book and is the art work of men’s hairstyles and hair expert Rogelio, who pioneered the men’s hair field with advice for all kind of hair types and hairstyles for men with his BS free, as he calls it, attitude. Through his blog Manly Curls Rogelio has been publishing lots of male lifestyle and hair articles that are the best of the hair care field. As an example, Rogelio has taken the time to write a full guide on men’s hair products such as hair clippers http://www.manlycurls.com/2013/10/hair-products-men-clippers-dryers-straighteners-hair-accessories-combs/ and this is one of the 5 guides he has published on other hair products for men!
Usually I try to stay away from reading about barber or hair books in my free time as I already do a lot of studying for my barber job other than being in the barbershop cutting and styling men’s hair, but I am a fan of Rogelio’s sites Manly Curls and Men’s Hair Blog so I could not skip the chance to read from Rogelio. And for any of you thinking I have a man crush on this dude, I actually run into him at an international trade show for the professional hair industry where he (Rogelio) was a VIP guest and he was a really cool and humble guy, the sort of guy you would want as a friend basically.
Real hair advice for men
The Men’s Hair Book is surprisingly enjoyable to read which is the reverse of all the college books I have read in the past to get my hair degree. And what’s more surprising is that Rogelio’s book reads much more well thought out and develop than any book concentrated exclusively on the topic of hair. Rogelio has developed and pioneered several concepts that have left me amazed as with my years of experience in barbershops, the fact that a male would come up with such technical stuff and yet be able to communicate it so easily to others is a very rare human trait indeed.
From his many years experience, Rogelio knows exactly what you want for your male hair, including your hairstyle and your hair care. Rogelio also covers growing long hair, using hair tools and hair products and putting your hair into a type. There’s just so much stuff on the book its practically impossibly to list of the hair stuff for men without making it look like I’m in love with the guy LOL But The Men’s Hair Book is definitively worth the purchase.
Find a good barbershop and barber and use The Men’s Hair Book by Rogelio. You’ll be golden!
The great thing about The Men’s Hair Book is that it literally takes care of everything and has you learning pretty much everything about your hair. Then, all you will have left to do is find a good barbershop where they cut men’s hair decently and you will have the best hair ever possible on your head. Rogelio even goes the length to dedicate a section of the book on shopping for the right barber and gives you many tip of the hundreds he gives on what to look for in a good barbershop setting.
I really cannot recommend enough The Men’s Hair Book, and if you’re still having doubts about the book, then simply visit Rogelio’s sit Manly Curls (manlycurls.com) and see for yourself why Rogelio is the number one me’s hair expert.
